City of Woodland Beautification Committee
Mural Project

The Woodland Beautification Committee was formed in 1990 with the goal of bringing the youth of the community together and provide the necessary resources to combat the proliferation of graffitti throughout the city.

Since then, the project has evolved into a group in partnership with the City of Woodland, Private and Corporate sponsors and local Educational Institutions. In addition to the above goals, the project has become an avenue for the development of students interested in the arts and local community pride and participation.

Future visions of the committee include further development of community partnerships, mentorship for youth interested in careers in art by established artists, and the advancement of arts in public places.
