Luna Vista Rotary of Woodland has graciously volunteered to spearhead community fundraising for the Restrooms building. The kick-off event is an Oktoberfest celebration to be held at the Museum this September 29th. It will be a fun-filled evening of sausages, strudel, and entertainment courtesy of Freddy Pfeffer and the Bavarian Dancers. The beautiful grounds will sparkle with lights and long tables arranged beer hall style. Music and laughter will fill the air while our community enjoys German style food made from family recipes.
Luna Vista will make a gift with profits from Oktoberfest to the Capital Campaign Fund. Constructing this $120,000 facility will allow the Museum to increase vital income through event rentals. It will also provide needed sanitary conditions for more than 2,000 students who visit the museum annually and often stay to have picnic lunches.
