Join this magical event and help celebrate the spirit of the holiday season while helping support educational programming at the Yolo County Historical Museum
On Friday, December 4th, a special preview will be held
from 3 – 6 p.m. for holiday shoppers to spend time examining
the beautiful trees and other holiday decorations that have been
crafted by local decorators and groups. The auction sheets will
be available for early bids, though to be assured of getting what
they want; bidders need to be present at the Saturday Gala.
Saturday, December 5th, from 6:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. is the
Festival Gala! All the holiday items will be available for sale
at a silent and live auction. Created by local decorators and
groups, these holiday treats get more beautiful – and fun –
every year! Complimentary hors d’oeuvres and wine will be
served, while guests enjoy musical entertainment. Tickets are
$35 each or & $60 a couple.
The Gibson House will also be a part of the Meals on Wheels
Dickens in the Valley Home Tour on Saturday afternoon.
On Santa Sunday, December 6th, the Gibson House will be
Open from 1 – 4 p.m. Admission is free Children will be able
to make a Christmas craft and meet Santa. Holiday items will be
for sale, as well as any trees or decorations that weren’t
auctioned on Saturday night. Refreshments will be served, and
docents will be on hand to give tours of the house.
