Celebrate your special event in a Victorian setting on the park-like grounds of the historic Gibson Mansion.
Setting The Victorian Gibson Mansion and adjoining patio is surrounded by perennial flower gardens, green lawns, trees and an olive orchard. This is partially shaded by a 250-year-old Valley Oak. The grounds but not the Museum are available for rent.
Ideal For Weddings, wedding receptions, dinners, family reunions, club groups, birthdays, graduation, retirement parties and memorial services.
Reservation and Deposit A $100.00 deposit is required to reserve a date. The deposit is refundable up to 6 months before the event date with written notification of cancellation. This deposit will be returned after your event if the grounds are left in good condition.
Rental Fee $450.00 After January 2007 the rental fee for the museum grounds will be $500. The deposit to reserve a date will be $200. This fee must be paid two weeks before the event date.
Renters Requirements Renter must have a certificate of liability insurance, your homeowner's policy, insurance of your choice, or one purchased from YCPARMIA 77 West Lincoln Avenue, Woodland, CA 95695: $500,000 coverage if no alcohol is served, or $1,000,000 if alcohol is served

Sound System Restrictions No amplified music or public address system is allowed. Music must be played softly and must end at 9:00 PM.
Facilities Raised cement patio suitable for dining, dancing, or as a stage. The brick patio and lawn area are suitable for seating and dining. The olive orchard is also suitable for dining. On site parking is adequate for 30 cars. The driveways must be kept open. Only the grounds are available to rent, not the Museum mansion.
Equipment available for use on the grounds Electrical outlets, and water faucets, 1 restroom and 2 chemical toilets, 10 metal picnic tables with attached benches (29"x90") each seats 10, several wooden benches, 4 free standing white lattice panels, 1 white lattice panel to fit front door of the mansion, and a dumpster for trash.
Rental Guidelines To help ensure a pleasant wedding and to preserve the beauty of the museum grounds, please observe the following guidelines: All decorations should be self-contained and removed after the ceremony.Attach decorations to the house using only tape or string. Nail, tacks, staples and pins are not allowed.
Please be careful not to step on to the flowerbeds. The herb garden and the beds bordering the patio are especially delicate.
Picking flowers or breaking or cutting the branches of trees is prohibited.
Portable floors should not be placed on grass areas.
Drive on the gravel areas only, never on the grass.
The driveway surrounding the mansion is a fire lane, please keep this area clear.
